Our Origin Story
Our Owner, Karisma Aarons, founded PartyKssentials beginning with just a balloon and a dream. As a young black women it was important for her to create something of her own, a dream of hers from a young age. What started as a small dream grew into a vision of bringing people together through creativity, thoughtful design, and unforgettable celebrations.
Karisma recognized that clients deserved more than just decorations, they needed a streamlined, stress-free option for full service event execution, so what began with a single balloon grew into a full-service event planning and décor company dedicated to transforming events into experiences.
Along the way Karisma partnered with her childhood best friend, Nicole Pleasants, stepping into the Role of Director of Design, and her long term boyfriend, Joseph Flanagan, a Finish Carpenter with over 10 years experience, as director of fabrication. Together they combined logical precision, aesthetic curation, and hands on manufacturing under one roof.
